Hannah was a woman who had had ENOUGH of being taunted, tormented, and provoked by her rival (adversary, enemy) and husband Elkanah’s other wife and mother of his children, Peninnah. Because Hannah was barren, and the wife and woman whom Elkanah loved, Peninnah was jealous and intentional about making Hannah’s life miserable and unbearable. Peninnah had Elkanah’s children, but Hannah had his heart, for he loved her! Peninnah’s consistent malicious actions toward Hannah, especially during their trips with Elkanah to worship the Lord Almighty at Shiloh, caused her to feel worthless, miserable, and depressed. This went on year after year. Hannah’s emotional distress was so dire that she would cry and not eat. It was Peninnah’s tormenting escapades during one of these trips where Hannah reached her breaking point and arrived at her turning point. She had had ENOUGH! So, Hannah stood up one day after they had finished eating in Shiloh and went to a safe space where she prayed fervently and wept bitterly before the Lord in all her misery, distress, troubles, pain, grief, and with all her soul. She also petitioned God with her greatest desire of having a son. God heard Hannah’s cry! He answered Hannah and blessed her with peace, healing, joy, victory, and her son Samuel who was one of the greatest priests and prophets in his time.
 
If you have had enough of Satan attacks; enough of tormenting situations and circumstances; enough of feeling depressed, alone, or worthless; enough of struggling in your emotions, mind, body, and life; enough of dire issues or challenges in your marriage, family, or relationships; enough of anything; then turn to and cry out to God. Call upon Him, and He will hear, answer, and help you. It is what Hannah did!
 
God is more than ENOUGH and so is His grace. And because of Him, you are ENOUGH, and you have ENOUGH. Put on the WordWear "ENOUGH" design knowing that you are. If you have had ENOUGH, it is time to stand up and do something. Enough is enough!
