TODAY’S PRAYER: Help Me To Finish My Race In Victory.

Father God,

There is a race that You have set before me and called me to run. Remove every distraction, hindrance, and stumbling block that may delay my progress and detour me from my path, focus, and faith in You. Help me to let go of and lay aside any and every unnecessary weight of sin, burdens, situations, or even people who weigh me down so I may run with patience, persistence, and perseverance and finish my race in victory. In Jesus’ Name! Amen!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,
